With a combined 27 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, we understand the importance of achieving meaningful outcomes and demonstrating program success. Gita Zareikar

Partner PhD, MA, BA

Gita Zareikar brings over 15 years of experience in research within the post-secondary education and non-profit sectors. Her passion for environmental sustainability and social justice is evident in her work, particularly in the non-profit sector, where she has spearheaded multifaceted research projects centered on vital issues such as immigration and settlement services for newcomers and refugees. 

She holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Program Evaluation and has led the design and implementation of programs within the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework. Her contributions have been instrumental in promoting cultural integration and enhancing educational initiatives, including projects that offered training in social-emotional and leadership skills to participants from diverse backgrounds. As a researcher and MEL expert, she has collaborated effectively with teams of evaluators and researchers to measure program impact.

When not doing research and program evaluation, she is busy gardening or enjoying nature on her bike. In colder months, she is busy finding new crochet projects.

Kathleen Baker is passionate about building inclusive spaces, supporting community economic and social development, and improving organizational capacity. She seeks to apply her skills in research, evaluation, policy analysis and consultation to make a positive impact and advance the mission and vision of public sector organizations, charities and not for profits.

Kathleen has seven years of experience working in research and analysis, policy development and grant writing and administration. Her professional experience has allowed her to work with all levels of government to provide advice, develop actionable public policies and evidence based performance measurement frameworks.  She currently works in public policy, holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Master of Public Administration and a post-graduate certificate in Evaluation.

Outside of her professional work, Kathleen enjoys spending time outside camping, canoeing and biking, playing with her rescue dog or cozying up with a book.

Rovshen Shamedova brings a deep passion for program evaluation and policy analysis, focusing on understanding, assessing and improving the effectiveness of programs and policies designed to address societal challenges. Her expertise lies in developing innovative data collection tools and conducting rigorous analyses to uncover trends and key insights that inform decision-making.

Rovshen’s work emphasizes supporting vulnerable and marginalized populations, drawing on her background in economics, research, and public policy and program evaluation. She combines advanced technical skills with a commitment to equity, contributing to initiatives that aim to create meaningful social impact.

Rovshen spends her free time enjoying nature, exploring local events, staying active with sports, or cuddling with her bunny for a good movie.
